If you grew up tinkering with building kits like Erector sets or Lego Mindstorms, you can probably appreciate how important such tools can be to a child’s early development.

The kit, which costs $119, is scheduled to ship worldwide in July 2014.

Cool, maybe IE will be a lot faster now

robyns tut's curator insight, September 27, 2013 5:29 PM

I am excited that IE is improving their browser to become more user-friendly and is making it more appealing to internet users. I hope that this new version of IE will be of benefit to Windows users, in the same way or more than Google Chrome does.

this look pretty nice i would like to go see it in person

Victoria McNamara's curator insight, December 12, 2013 1:36 PM

By looking at this picture you automatically think its a waterfall within the water. This image is actually just showing the mix of sand and silt deposits mixing together. The light to dark colors is what makes it look like a waterfall.

Jess Deady's curator insight, May 4, 2014 9:24 PM

Another spectacular sight. Of course, you will need a plane or helicopter to venture above it to see it, but this illusion is pretty nifty.

At first I wasn't so sure about the layout and colors, but I've gotten quiet used to it already. I do like the accordion feature when on Safari.

This is a great article to introduce you to the Unicorn of Death. The UoD gets attention.

The UoD has nothing to do with the "Top 15 Most Used Cliche Images in Web Design", but if I used any of the images highlighted in the article you'd skip right past this post.

In good design there has to be something of value to put your attention in a chokehold, otherwise it's cheap decoration. Design cliché's are just that.

You can thank the folks who set the standards at microstock sites like iStock, Dreamstime et,al.

From experience, I've had images rejected because they were deemed "..not stock-worthy..." Considering the images that are stock-worthy, that's not such a bad thing.
