Wilson - Always Eager to Travel: Delhi – Where My Dil Goes On and On

Wilson - Always Eager to Travel: Delhi – Where My Dil Goes On and On | Wilson - Always Eager to Travel | Scoop.it

I have lots of memories of Delhi been flying throughout my mind frequently. I have visited almost every nook and corner of Delhi with my friend. You can call it what you will Dilli or Delhi. Delhi is a city where my dil always wants to be, it’s a city which lives vigorously with a past that remains evocatively present. So when you walk along the bylanes of this imperial city tread with the street food in your hand, every crumbling wall has a story to tell. The ruins and ramparts still stands tall and also the modern huge buildings and skyscrapers which never shadows this ramparts.

Even the Book Is Closed but the Story doesn't get over

Even the Book Is Closed but the Story doesn't get over | Wilson - Always Eager to Travel | Scoop.it

After finishing your readings, you just close your book and after putting it away, and starts doing some other works. Still you’re smiling and laughing by recalling the incidence happened in the story you just read. Same thing happened in our daily life, when the book is closed but the story doesn’t get over. A memory resurfaces. Maybe it's a song that reminds you. Sometimes it's a flash of memory. A place you went to, a smell that conjures it all back up. It's the knife that twists and reminds you that under your smile, there is a wound that is not yet fully healed. Today am writing about this because am now missing my college days and many incidents is revolving inside my mind as a flashback.

Entering to a life of professionalism is something like losing virginity in teen age itself. Before entering to a professional life we had a short period of gratification named college life. I spend my college life in Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, and was really an unforgettable experience for me. I made lots of friend among which some are really close to my heart. College is a platform to mould you to a better individual. In college bunking seems to be an unavoidable phenomenon, and I have bunked many classes and spent my time with my fellow friend in canteen or we have gone any place which come to our mind. Now I don’t know why am thinking about my college days but I am sure that am really missing those days.

Remembering That Good Time Spent in Pachmarhi with my Amigos.

Remembering That Good Time Spent in Pachmarhi with my Amigos. | Wilson - Always Eager to Travel | Scoop.it

2011 was a wonderful year to me as well as my friends, because we spent a lot of memorable time with each other. While completing our P.G Tourism from Sri Venkateswara College we had lots of fun. Best part of this academic year was our trip to Pachmarhi. This beautiful hill station is located at Madhya Pradesh (India). Pachmarhi is the only hill station of Madhya Pradesh. Pachmarhi situated on a large plateau ringed by hills on the evergreen central Satpura ranges, is known as the Queen of Satpura for its spectacular beauty. The hill station at a height 3550 ft. is located in Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh. The place is surrounded by low lying rugged hills, ravines, beautiful forests, 12 breathtaking waterfalls, serene pools and quiet glades.

Oh when I look back now
That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Yeah, I'd always want to be there
Those were the best days of my life

This was a great and memorable trip that none of us will and can never forget. Till this date when most of us are busy working for the daily bread this trip is the wine that helps us enjoy the meal.

Happy World Tourism Day!!! September 27 is celebrated as World Tourism Day. Just celebrating it as any day is not the motto of tourism Day. Every year there is an agenda or theme which empowers the world to get protected or it can be say it leads a way to act something which protects the whole world. Tourism is one of the world's largest economic sectors and this year it has already taken one big step to protect sustainable energy for all.  With perspective of protecting the sustainable energy new innovative clean energy solutions have been introduced. Important steps have already been taken towards the future by improving energy efficiency, and renewable energy technologies are increasingly being used in its operations. While helping to protect the planet, many of these steps are creating jobs and helping to lift people out of poverty.

A Peachy Weekend Bike Ride to Agra

A Peachy Weekend Bike Ride to Agra | Wilson - Always Eager to Travel | Scoop.it
Last Week I had a quite good bike ride to Agra, as my best friend bought a new Royal Enfield Bullet. As he bought a bullet it was like something mandatory to have a good ride, so we choose Agra, as it can be completed in one day.
Wilson Tom's insight:

Last Week I had a quite good bike ride to Agra, as my best friend bought a new Royal Enfield Bullet. As he bought a bullet it was like something mandatory to have a good ride, so we choose Agra, as it can be completed in one day. From Delhi to Agra is just 210 Kms and we started our ride at 7 Am. The road to Agra seems really bad as it was really hot and you have to get through dusty way. The scenery is not as better and there is lots of foul smell all the way to Agra. But thing which I was enjoying was the thundering sound of bullet and crispy sound of wind.

Hilarious Bike Trip To Amritsar

Hilarious Bike Trip To Amritsar | Wilson - Always Eager to Travel | Scoop.it

6/10/2010 was the most tremendous and exciting day of my entire life, because I went for a motorcycle trip to Amritsar with my best friend Shanky. As Shanky was preparing for civils, his coaching class was starting from 11th so we decided to go on the 1st week of October. As we were doing job in a travel agency we were waiting for our salary and after getting salary we fix the date on 6th. For this trip I had struggled a lot because my parents were not allowing me to go in a bike I know that they will be standing on fire till we are back home.

Walking through the streets of Mussoorie in a Rainy Day

Walking through the streets of Mussoorie in a Rainy Day | Wilson - Always Eager to Travel | Scoop.it

Mussoorie is a very good destination for weekend getaway. As it is just 230 Kms from Delhi you can easily reach by car or it is a better option to catch shatabdi from delhi and reach Dehradun and then just took taxi or bus from Dehradun. Taxis and buses are available throughout the hill frequently. Mall road is having very nice scenery, and as for my personal opinion would suggest taking a hotel in mall road itself for better view and for better accessibility.

Mussoorie has a lot to offer to everyone. A 34 km winding drive from Dehradun takes you to its lap. Located on the Garhwal Hills, the hill resort juts out like a little paradise from a hilltop. The place seems like a unique mosaic of antiquity, mysticism and various hues. The major attractions which we actually missed due to rain was Lal Tibba, Gun Hill, Kempty Falls, Municipal Gardens, Jharipani Falls and Bhatta Falls, Jwalaji Temple, Mussoorie Lake, Van Chetna Kendra.
