When a firm’s earnings outlook is stable and there is little volatility in the stock, this makes it extremely difficult to identify an investment opportunity, since all the good news is usually priced into the stock.

this article makes some sense. I see that it is addressing the problem of how we aren't actually increasing long run GDP by government intervention. that makes sense, its saying we should be able to increase GDP on our own this article suggests us to incentivize our people. I'm not sure if that would work the best. maybe the government should be acting as babysitter, following along and making sure horrible mistakes aren't made, opposed to being more like a maid. and correcting/cleaning messes that have already been made. cleaning messes in a analogy to government intrusion/bailout
