Currently rules on personal independence payments mean that mobility points, which allow people to access a Blue Badge for disabled parking, are allocated on a physical capacity to walk only not mental impairment.
This is demonstrably unrealistic & impacts both people with disabilities and carers.

We call for a ban on the outsourcing (privatisation) of NHS services, and stop the renewal of any outsourcing contracts already signed. Companies should not be profiteering from NHS contracts, when every pound of NHS budgets is desperately needed for more doctors and nurses, and to pay them more.

Most people walking through Westminster tube station on Wednesday will have noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Tourists sauntered through as commuters rushed by. Few will have questioned that a homeless man wasn’t sitting in his usual place inside Exit 3. But the unidentified man’s body had been found at that spot just hours before. Outreach services attempted to give him CPR until paramedics and police arrived. Shortly after 7am, he was pronounced dead.
