this is a good example of how the internet has converged with the music industry. 

In my opinion, it is a double edged sword. Through the web we can access music much more conveniently. However, I think it is a pity because the act of perusing through cds shops for the favourite cds and the feeling you get when you find that cd can never be replaced. 

Nevertheless, the partnership seems like a good one as Spotify is increasingly popular amongst consumers as it offers a one stop place for all the music at the user's fingertips.
