24 Tools To Run Your Social Media Marketing

24 Tools To Run Your Social Media Marketing | Web Development | Scoop.it

In this noisy content marketing world, it can be a challenge to make your brand stand out from the crowd. With millions of free webinars and free trial this and free demo that, the overload can send anyone in a tailspin.

Michael Kristiansen's insight:

The statement about overload is so true.  There are so many webinars and marketing tools it makes your head spin....and can take your focus off of what is the most important thing to do first.  Somehow, there has to be clarity and priorities to work through in an orderly way.  Doing web development is a challenge that changes constantly.

One of the ways I've found the right direction is setting intentions.  For example, a month ago, I set an intention that somehow I would get to see what it's like to ride in a Tesla sportscar.  This week, at an Eliances Roundtable, a great venue of top level entrepreneurs who align with other members in order to make things happen.   I met Bruce Brimacombe, CEO of GOE3, an amazing company setting the pace of installing renewable power stations that uses a universal design to charge all electric cars.  While discussing renewable energy, Bruce asked if I had ever been in a Tesla.  It turned out to be so much fun because the car really delivers the wow factor.  You really do feel the G forces, the acceleration is crazy fast.

Every business owner can put their intention out there, and within a short time, the intention is met in an unexpected way.  Take a look at the original article on the 24 tools and see if you can find some resources you can build your intention around.

What '(Not Provided)' & Google Hummingbird Mean for Small Business SEO

What '(Not Provided)' & Google Hummingbird Mean for Small Business SEO | Web Development | Scoop.it
Small business owners who once obsessed over their top keyword rankings and traffic from a few money terms now need to adjust their thinking with the rise of "(not provided)" keywords and the arrival of the Google Hummingbird algorithm.
Michael Kristiansen's insight:

This affects all size businesses, but resources for small businesses are generally thinner, and probably have people using methods of keyword driven SEO.  Testing the last five months has already proven content driven marketing is the web development needed.  The article tells why and what to do about driving quality traffic that is made up of people searching for solutions, the best answers to their questions.    Newsjacking is very much a powerful use of curation to provide the high value content people will come for.  Video marketing is a provider of solutions people are looking for when used to present valuable content.

Web development is now an ongoing process of adding fresh content on 'entrance pages' that operate as individual FAQ pages, addressing one question with well thought out solutions that include infographics, video and text.

Wireless System Could Offer a Private Fast Lane

Wireless System Could Offer a Private Fast Lane | Web Development | Scoop.it
The technology, called pCell, is one of many techniques that companies are looking at to address the rising public appetite for mobile data, especially video.
Michael Kristiansen's insight:

This is pretty amazing demonstration of connecting several devices on the same wifi and streaming movies to each without any problem.  High demand on bandwidth causes dropped calls and glitchy video.  The Artemis pWave antenna actually makes use of interference through  fast mathematical calculations that create unique and coherent wireless signals for every person on the network.  It looks like it will deliver faster speed and higher capability than what we have now.
