Report:

Peace can bee seen differently for every other person, in my opinion peace is kind of an utopic idea, and not because it is impossible to reach but because it is so simple and easy that we think it is to good to be true. There has always been said that the only way to solve a problem it is to look for the cause of it. And this song talks a little about it. It talks about the way we behave, of how sometime we let the rutine of the daily life pull us apart from our families, how we pay to much atention to things that aren't worth it just so that we don't see that selfishness of human kind is taking over the world and it is leaving nothing meaningfull for other generations. And it demonstrates it through the most simple examples so that any person who hears it can understand it in their own way.

Descriptive memorie:
For this video i used two types of fonts both of san serif type. One is in bold form and the other one in it's thin font, this way a balance is created betwen the use of them. For the background I created an image of a city landscape, in wich the most noticed aspect is the sky and the free birds flying around it, and the colors that can be seen there are mostly blue, black and white . With this what I am trying to create is the idea of stormy "normal" city with its regular caos but with a very big quiet a relaxing sky above it that no many people seems to notice nowadays. And in between them there is the lyrics of the song playing.

Lyirc.
Well, sing, sing at the top of your voice,
Love without fear in your heart.
Feel, feel like you still have a choice
If we all light up we can scare away the dark

We wish our weekdays away
Spend our weekends in bed
Drink ourselves stupid
And work ourselves dead
And all just because that's what mom and dad said we should do

We should run through the forest
We should swim in the streams
We should laugh, we should cry,
We should love, we should dream
We should stare at the stars and not just the screens
You should hear what I'm saying and know what it means

To sing, sing at the top of your voice,
Love without fear in your heart.
Feel, feel like you still have a choice
If we all light up we can scare away the dark

Well, we wish we were happier, thinner and fitter,
We wish we weren't losers and liars and quitters
We want something more not just nasty and bitter
We want something real not just hash tags and Twitter

It's the meaning of life and it's streamed live on YouTube
But I bet Gangnam Style will still get more views
We're scared of drowning, flying and shooters
But we're all slowly dying in front of fliping computers

So sing, sing at the top of your voice,
Oh, love without fear in your heart.
Can you feel, feel like you still have a choice
If we all light up we can scare away the dark.

Worshop II - Branding, Identity & Logo Design Explained

Worshop II - Branding, Identity & Logo Design Explained | Workshops | Scoop.it
A logo is not your brand, nor is it your identity. Logo design, identity design and branding all have different roles, that together, form a perceived image for a business or product. There has been some recent discussion on the web about this topic, about your logo not being your brand. Although this may be true, I haven't seen any clarification of the differences between 'brand', 'identity' and 'logo'. I wish to rectify this. What is brand? – The perceived emotional corporate image as a whole. What is identity? – The visual aspects that form part of the overall brand. What is a logo? – A logo identifies a business in its simplest form via the use of a mark or icon. To explain this in more detail, let’s start at the top – the brand. What is branding? Branding is certainly not a light topic – whole publications & hundreds of books have been written on the topic, however to put it in a nutshell you could describe a ‘brand’ as an organisation, service or product with a
Mariangela Velasquez's insight:

This is a very accurate and interesting article that makes a big effort to explain the relationship between a brand an identity and a Logo, wich are usually confused and mixed terms.

HELLO!

I'm Mariangela Velásquez I'm 20 years old, from Maracaibo, Zulia state in Venezuela.

Mariangela Velasquez's insight:

My name is Mariangela Velásquez I'm 20 years old, from Maracaibo, Zulia state in Venezuela. I live in the north area of Maracaibo and study Graphic design at URBE.

I like hanging out with my family, friends and boyfriend. And I love watching movies and relaxing at home I also enjoy very much a much needed quiet time once in awhile to just put down to work my creative side.

My dream is to be successful in all aspects of my life but most importantly in my career and live and study in another country.

I really like english I think is a need to learn at least the basics of this language because it is the closest thing we have to a "common tongue" around the world and is very useful in many aspects. I study english by familiarizing with in music, readings, movies, tv shows and also I did a course of it when I was around the age of 12.

I prefer studying english by reading and watching things that expand my vocabulary knowledge about the subject.

A B O U T G R A P H I C D E S I G N

I usually feel motivated on the idea to improve myself and develop past tasks with the new thing that I've learned over time. I also watch many works of my role models in the industry and research in the new trends on the matter.

I like to think that my best abilities involving my career are patience and understanding of constructive critics. On the other hand in graphic design the areas that I like to involve myself in are web design and Corporative Image design.

The people around me influence me incredibly because as my job depends on my creativity, my creativity depends on my mood and this is directly affected of what happens around me so that's why I always try to treat rightfully the people around me. Also they support my Ideas and help to find solutions to my daily life problems.

I'm at my best when I spend time with my nephews because they help love drawing and experimenting with graphic ideas just like myself and they help understand that creativity can't be forced by due dates or schedules it just when you like what you do and relax and let the ideas flow.

My best sources of help and my teacher and classmates. As I'm a student still Is imperative to seek for the complementation of the people that surround me in my "workplace".

I'm pretty sure that the only way to be successful is to keep learning useful things every day and to be patient and not be get overwhelmed for obstacles that get in my way.

Level 7. English for work.....Designers Answer: Why I became a Graphic Design Student

Mariangela Velasquez's insight:

Since I was very little I was very creative when it came to school projects that related to art or drawing and creating. But I decided to study Graphic Design when I was about twelve years old. I met a friend of my cousin who worked at a advertisement company she is a Graphic Designer and when I went into her home and she showed me what she did and explained to me briefly how the visual language works in all of its presentations it got stock in my head right away. And since that day I made a lot of research on the subject constantly and admired the work of many of the people in this industry. Later on and against my older brothers advice here I am loving what I do every day a little bit more.
