After completing my Masters I started shortlisting the avenues that will work out for me. It was an ordeal to step out of the cocoon, compose myself and present the ideas to the world.


The Beginning


When I started off fresh in the year 2014, things seemed rosy to me. I began as a Marketing Executive in a private organization, before that the only formal experience I could showcase was a handful of stories for a newspaper. I still consider my short stint with a media house as one of the most valuable experiences of my life, where I learned the essentials of storytelling.


Story-telling is an art, which I feel many of us have in store within; all you need to do is discover it. The editor explained to me how to take the inputs and convert it into a story.


A call from the HR dept. of an optical brand completely changed my life. From a 9 to 3 routine I had to shift to a 10 to 8 one. Though each day was filled with multiple challenges I picked up numerous things in the process. Starting right from the difference between vinyl and flex, differences between ATL and BTL activities, to the basics of SEO content writing this place acquainted me with the basics of both online and offline marketing.
