Our Research and Insight Director, Andre van Loon, recently attended the School of Planning's first event of 2017, he provides an overview of the speakers’ top points for planning.
We Love Social!'s insight:
Mark Pollard spoke about different ways through which we could train our ‘insight muscles’. To Pollard, insights are often uncomfortable and are therefore best generated through tension. An insight should provoke a reaction, so the best places to find insights are the aspects in life where people feel slightly uncomfortable. ‘That’s so true’ should be coupled with ‘cripes, I don’t know how I feel about that’. He argued that creative executions based on consensual insights run the risk of fading into the background. Getting into your discomfort zone opens up the behaviours where the original and insightful thinking happens – and that is where good strategy is created.

„Mobile is the new online“ se jednoduše říká, ale hůř dokazuje. Přesvědčil jsem se o tom na konferenci Mobile Marketing 2016, která byla mobilní každým coulem, ale marketingová, natož onlinová pomálu. Přitom největším rostoucím mediatypem v mobilních zařízeních je search (vyhledávání) a že čas strávený na mobilu jenom rozšiřuje dobu, kdy jsou lidi online. Připravit se ale na výzvy, jako je multiscreening, bude chtít pravděpodobně mnohem víc než pěkné apky a QR kódy.

Adam Ondráček (AdamKontra) reportuje: "Před mobilními marketéry stojí velké výzvy. Nabízí se jim miliony Čechů, kteří v době televizní reklamy koukají do telefonu. A to není nic nového, v Británii desetiletí existuje fenomén jménem TV pickup, velký nárůst odběru elektřiny v přestávkách televizních programů, kdy dávají Britové vařit čaj. Dnes bychom tomu mohli v Česku říkat mobile pickup. Všechny digitální agentury čekají výzvy přizpůsobit obsah dennímu používání mobilu a přeskakování mezi jednotlivými screeny a v neposlední řadě pracovat jinak s jeho distribucí a cílením v desktopu a mobilu. Mobile Marketing 2016 mě ale zatím nepřesvědčil, že k tomu máme nakročeno. Zvlášť, když na něm nebyla zastoupena ani jedna digitální agentura."

Internet dává marketérům velké příležitosti. „Když inzerujete na billboardu, na autobusové zastávce nebo kdekoliv jinde v reálném světě, můžete tak hodně křičet na blíže neidentifikovanou masu lidí. Na webu můžete najít lidi, co vás zajímají a budovat s nimi vztahy," uvedl Kaushik. Většina značek ovšem využívá z možností internetu jen ty základní  - ošklivě řečeno si jen dokáže lépe vysegmentovat užší dav lidí, na který křičí svou obchodní nabídku.

To, že sa mu táto reklama zobrazila na lepšej pozícii, má na svedomí nastavenie v podobe navýšenia ceny za preklik pre takéto vyhľadávanie, a to percentuálne (napr. o 40 %). Vyššiu pozíciu reklamy má používateľ viac „na očiach“. Okrem toho tiež môžeme meniť text. Preto potom používateľovi, ktorý sa neustále vracia na tento web, sadne tento druh reklamy tak povediac na mieru.

“Facebook Payments International Ltd. (FBPIL) is pleased to confirm we have been approved authorization as an electronic money institution by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).

The license enables us to roll out products like charitable donations on Facebook or peer-to-peer payments via Messenger in Europe, as we have in the U.S. The license authorizes FBPIL to issue donations from Facebook users to charities registered in the European Economic Area (EEA) only; and peer-to-peer payments, within the EEA.”
