Yes, I think that this is a good thing. We need to stop terorism. Do we want another 9/11? I know I dont. As long as they cant see inside our houses, I think they should be able to see where else we go. It might also stop other crims, If they have sucurity camras all over.

Yeah. If we want to be safe this day and age, it's almost a necessity to deal with this stuff. Good scoop.

Lucas Duenwald's insight:

I believe that this article is right, unfortionatly. On the news a lot of what you hear is about terrorism. one thing that is amazing is that it takes just a few people too kill a lot of people. Like in 9/11. there were only a few terorists (19) and they killed thousands of people. They would have killed the president, luckily they were stopped.

I agree Terorism is the #one threat to worls sucurity. If you look on the news basicly every night you will see another terorist or shooting related thing. Even with increased sucurity in the us. there still have been attacks. One example would be the shooting at the navy yard.

This video is a great reminder of what the U.S went thorugh when 9/11 happened. 9/11 is what made all the changes in the U.S with security and lots more laws went into effect. Our country has not been the same since then and its hard to think just because this happened that almost everything has security now a days.

I do believe that this article is right. The police do need to train citisens to know how to identify an attack and how to prevent one. If they tell the public how, then it will help prevent it. The problem might be reaction time, though. Can the people react in enough time to eliminate the problem?

I think that this article is right. Police need to train indevidual people. If they do this then it could help stop terorism. One problem is the peoples reaction time though.

I think that It is right to collect information on inocent people. If they do and then the person becomes a theat, It will be easier to track them because we already know about them. We also know about their routenes, and habbits.

Lucas Duenwald's insight:

This just shows that It only takes a few people to cause mass destruction. 5% of a country isnt much. On a much larger scale, the US. is about 5% of the worlds population. This means that the muslem population compared to the Philippines is like the US population compared to the world. So It would be like If the US. was responsible for almost all of the terrorism in the whole world. Scarry thought huh!!!
