Osborne has a nerve to say Scots would be worse off

TALK about an open goal.
Jim Arnott's insight:

I hope Osborne comes to Scotland every month until the Referenduim. The twaddle he spouts helps convince more and more Scots to Yote Yes. His remarks are so outrageous that Scots see yet again how out of touch Westminster is with the aspirations of Scotland.

Wings Over Scotland | Careless Torc tells lies | Unionist Shenanigans | Scoop.it

When the Daily Record lost Magnus Gardham to the Herald, they made sure to call on a like-for-like replacement. Torcuil Crichton, the newspaper’s self-styled “man in Westminster” (and who has never approved a single comment on his political blog in almost five years), is Gardham’s only rival as the most virulently and overtly Unionist staff reporter – as opposed to opinion columnist – in the Scottish media.

Wings Over Scotland | Richard Baker is a liar | Unionist Shenanigans | Scoop.it

It’s nice to see Scottish Labour taking turns. Today it’s Richard Baker who’s been wheeled out to spout idiotic and instantly-disproveable untruths at the Scottish public.

Jim Arnott's insight:

The Unionists are up to there old tricks - tell as many lies over and over again and the bigger the lie the better. This article is first class at exposing the lies and misinformation perpetrated by wee Richard Baker - wee in stature and wee in intellect. Simply put, this is just more Unionist shenanigans

UK admits long future for oil & gas | Scottish National Party

UK admits long future for oil & gas | Scottish National Party | Unionist Shenanigans | Scoop.it

On the day figures show the health of Scotland’s economy the UK Government’s Energy Minister has exposed the no campaigns’ doom and gloom predictions by admitting that North Sea oil & gas has a long and healthy life ahead of it.

Jim Arnott's insight:

Coming on a day when the No campaign’s only response to the latest GERS figures has been to talk down the future of the oil & gas sector, these comments clearly show the doublethink at work at the heart of the anti-independence camp.
