Kingda Ka, the tallest roller coaster on Earth, drops its passengers a life-flashing 418 feet. Ferrari World’s Formula Rossa, the fastest, literally takes riders’ breath away at speeds of up to 150 mph. Though thrilling, these are phenomena of degree, not kind. BRC Imagination Arts, a Southern California design firm, has proposed something entirely new: a ride that creates the sensation of zero gravity for up to eight seconds at a time.

These Renaissance nine portraits are parts of photo project called 1503 created by by Swiss/Italian photographer Christian Tagliavini.  Taking 13 months to complete this project was inspired by the masters of the Renaissance, notably Agnolo di Cosimo ( known as “Il Bronzino”) who was born in the same year as the title. All characters are portrayed in striking handcrafted clothes made by Tagliavini himself. From beginning to completion Tagliavini’s work is a labour of love. He admits that he enjoys the process as much as the resulting photograph.

For our daily transportation we definitely need an ecological form of transport. To fulfill the need a recumbent bicycle has been designed for James Dyson Award.

 

During the movement of the flywheel, when excess energy is produced, it can be stored and then released in times of need. The flywheel can also be charged using the wall socket and used as an engine capable of providing power up to 60kW. You can travel 33km at a speed of 50km/h in one charge.
