7 Things Every Entrepreneur Should Consider When Setting Up Social Media Accounts | TYPOGRAPHY | Scoop.it

You’ll also need to pay attention to who will run your accounts, and how they’ll do so.

What's this? MORE free fonts?! Let me say that with a bit more emphasis...MORE FREE FONTS! Free fonts could possibly be one of the great wonders of the Internet.

These are pretty good. I'm partial to Rispa Regular (# 21 on the list) but I doubt I would ever be able to use it.

Out in the wild for years,.SVG files (scalable vector graphics) are getting used a lot more now in web design. The "scalable" part helps when you're design a responsive website. The graphics look great across all platforms-- including Retina Displays. The images are resolution and platform independent and due to the nature of the file, the design will maintain it's image integrity even if you enlarge it to the size of Cuba.

Looks like all the hundreds & hundreds (possibly a few thousand) hours I spent learning & working with programs like ~cough~ CorelDraw ~cough~ ~cough~, and Adobe Illustrator are finally paying off!

This ad use the the example/ illustration and narration   by showing how their product can impact a person's life and telling the consumer the story that art school doesn't show its students how use materials to help them create their arts.. This ad use pathos to to futhure carry its meaning to the consumers.

I'm in the process of redesigning my design business' website [again] and I've found this post helpful.

Funny, it seems like I've been redesigning my website since 2005.

I often use the term the cobbler's kids have no shoes, but by now the cobbler's kids are teenagers and they're walking on stumps of what used to be bare feet.

If you're redeveloping your site, let me know, maybe I could help you, you could help me and we'll both save ourselves from losing our minds.
