Any way we can bring in technology into the classroom to improve learning can only be a good thing. Take for instance Twitter and YouTube. Valueable lessons and strategies can be found using these sites which can only be beneficial for our students, if used wisely I must add.

I especially like the idea of tweeting as a character from history! Not only is it enjoyable, but it encourages the students to quite literally put themselves in their shoes and evaluate their decisions, trials and tribulations on a much more personal level.

Tweeting encourages conversations among professionals willing to share ideas and resources to improve the classroom experience for students. It also connects educators around the globe. That's a win-win situation.

How to solve a difficult problem: Work on it as long and as hard as you can. When you run into an issue that you can not figure out, walk away and do something completely different. Get a good nights rest. After waking up or upon working on something different, you will unexpectedly get that aha moment where the answer or possible answers come to you.
Do not waste time struggling with an issue, let your subconscious kick in and help you figure it out.

twitter alone might not be sufficient, as we (or most of us) not 'always online', we have to do other things. combining twitter with a mechanism to comb through the # and compile personalized feed, would be useful.

Great study on Twitter! Here's another link to help you better engage on this platform https://business.twitter.com/en/basics/best-practices/ Also, download their Twitter guide for small businesses, the link's on the top right hand side of the page.
