"With this new application in Google Docs ( Drive ), teachers can now record their audio comments and share them with their students. I see this as a better way to give feedback on students' work and I do believe there are things we can express with our voice that no written code could ever capture like the tone and intonation..etc."

El proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje para que sea realmente significativo implica la participación del alumnado, en esta participación el papel del docente es fundamental(guía, orienta, estimula....). Disponer en la programación educativa de una serie de recursos educativos que faciliten al alumnado la comunicación de lo aprendido resulta fundamental para que desarrollen un rol de prosumidor frente a una mera bùsqueda de información, simplificando metodologías tan necesarias como la clase invertida .

Yes! A guided "funnel" to help students look more critically at content online. It can't help but "spill over" to other areas beyond schoolwork, right?

There are good ideas. What I find interesting, is I know some Internet sources i.e. blogs that are followed extensively and are written by people who spent little time in the classroom and no nothing about teaching.

With so much information readily available in a range of multimodal formats, from text to multimedia, apps and social networking, we need to blend technological learning and critical literacy together so that students can critically appraise the information that they are accessing. Teaching digital literacy is something that can be embedded into regular teaching in all subjects at all stages of education. To do that, it needs to be explicitly taught and reinforced by every teacher in every subject in a way that is appropriate for students. Via Nik Peachey

D'abord les profs doivent être plus intelligents que de dire d'aller le chercher sur Google, et les étudiants doivent avoir quelques stratégies pour chercher de l'information sur Internet. I'm not going to encourage anyone not to give attribution or credit for the images - however always useful to have good sources of free to use images. Important that students learn that the pictures they find and want to include in presentations have to be sourced and cited appropriately.

These people are able to comprehend words into pictures in their head and vice versa, according to a study by Penn Psychology. They are able to learn faster with the help of visual content, either as a photo or a video. Update/Tip: I tried it out-if you have to change your original document-just copy it and add voice to it-121 Writing doesn't sync with your Google Docs updates.
Instructors are always looking for ways to add audio feedback-I'd much prefer adding voice messages to my student's Google Docs then just text like I have in the past.
A huge added bonus for student engagement; also available in our Schoology LMS.
