Catalyst Level Leadership and Open Space Agility

Catalyst Level Leadership and Open Space Agility | Transformative Sustainability | Scoop.it
I’ve found some new alignment with the findings of Bill Joiner & Stephen Josephs in their book, “Leadership Agility” which I have been reviewing again. Originally published in 2007, the book is now 10 years old, and aging like fine wine, in my opinion.  The principles it reveals are timeless classics, and as I review …

Launch of the Influence Landscape framework (Beta) | Trends in the Living Networks | Transformative Sustainability | Scoop.it

This continues our tradition of creating frameworks to elucidate where things are going, including extremely popular visuals such as Future of Media Strategic Framework, Future of the Media Lifecycle, Enterprise 2.0 Implementation Framework and many more.

The Influence Landscape framework is launched in a Beta version that will be refined and developed over time, as influence is now one of our major research and content directions.

Tomorrow 19 May The Insight Exchange runs The Power of Influence luncheon in Sydney, which will cover how to create value in the emerging influence landscape. We are also preparing our landmark Future of Influence Summit (evolving out of the Future of Media Summit), due 1 September – details very soon!

What are the causes of this inability to see into generative possibilities?  I think it is centrally about two related ideas that I will elaborate on below: unlearning and orienting from the heart.

Elisabet Sahtouris

From the roots of the word Economy as the 'Rules of the household' into a whole fluent explanation of how we should look at nature's cero waste economy to design or economic system. She says -We never really had a science of economics-

She ends with speaking about a gift currency of how money is issued to make the transaction happens but disappears afterwards. Highest evolution is a gifted currency.

Don't Be So Sure | Mindful | Transformative Sustainability | Scoop.it
Margaret Wheatley explains why now, more than ever, we need a curiosity and a willingness to sit in uncertainty.
Wout-Jan Koridon's insight:

So often I struggle with polarity. Or the mindset that gives rise to it. Or the undoubtful manifestation of it in reality. Or I love the clarity that can be attained through antithesis.

Confusion arises. I am not so sure.

Great ... maybe WE can work it out.

Hamilton: Panarchy - resilience cycle of living systems

Hamilton: Panarchy - resilience cycle of living systems | Transformative Sustainability | Scoop.it
I used to be rather resistant to the whole concept of sustainability, because I felt that it was rather not a metabolic process, rather static, rather heavy-bounded, in its first definitions. And then I discovered the whole resilience cycle.

Flora Moon's curator insight, December 12, 2012 8:46 AM

I also find the resilience cycle appealing because of the link to natural processes.  Why must we mechanize things we want to emulate rather than observe and imitate the natural cycles that abound and support us?

AkoZ's comment, December 29, 2012 1:41 PM
the natural cycles are around mechanical more than what you think.. but they are in a chaotic way not an ordrerd one ... ;)
humans must find their own system coz, for now, they have an ultra power of destruction and cleaning... Imitating nature is a myth.
AkoZ's comment, December 29, 2012 1:45 PM
and also, mechanics are our creative tools and extensions .. far more thought than in a million death insectoïd nature top survive.. Strategies are so complex coz we consider evry human as important. nature, destroys all, and in fact the best too.. but in luck and time, we can believe in nature.. not for humans too.
