Thanks to our boss of studies, Cristina , pupils from 5th to 6th grade could enjoy a amusing fencing class for beginners. Although they couldn't practice all the time, they enjoyed watching their partners fighting and trying to follow the rules that Cristina had explained before. From our childhood, after learning to grab something, the next step is throwing away, and even more difficult, catch something that comes from the air... Each time, our body is more and more efficient and allows us to improve our movements (daily activities, sports,...). The two mainly reason of this fact are training and natural evolutionary developing.
When we are tossing somewhere, the first thing that we should do is choosing the place where we want to throw our ball (or object), after that we have to prepare ourselves and guide our body in order to have success in the shot. But if we are trying to catch a shot, some tips could be valuable! Pay attention to the ball, its direction, speed,... set your body in front of the ball's path, flex your knees and your ankles and hold out your arms. When the ball touches your hands, you should adapt the ball and bring to your body...
But this was only a tip for an specific exercise, when you are playing a match, your tossings and catchings should be natural and they must be varied in order to surprise your opponent
