3D Printing Time Lapse Photography - Yoda

"Time lapse photography of a 3D print on a Makerbot Replicator. This is my first print at .1mm layer height. There is a significant increase in detail compared to printing the same model at .2mm height. It takes longer, but in a print like this it is worth it. The layer ridges are still visible, but are much less evident.

.2mm is fine for general printing, including things such as brackets, toys, and iPhone docks. When you have a model with fine detail, give .1mm a try I think you will like it!

The 3D model can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14104

If you are interested in 3D printing, please subscribe to this channel for a series of demonstrations and how-to videos. If you have a question, I will reply in the comments below. Thanks!"

1) I agreed with what the author is talking about as time have changed the things 21st century people have is different from the things 20st century have.

2)Yes as more and more advance things are building in the future there will be even more thing that would change or become better.

3)The future people would take advantage of things that are getting better now as it will be more advanced in the future.

I agree with this author about the furniture used in classrooms then and now.

I can foresee things to be different in future. i can predict that in the future technology will be even advanced that there might be chairs designed with tables.

This will benefit the students and the teachers as there will be more space in the classrooms and it is easier for the students to have group discussions

I cant say that this is truly foolproof as students can misuse use these. They can dismentle the table from the chair and using it for other foolish activities like playing it with their friends..etc.

"An example of a fully-functional 3D printed model. The flashlight housing is 3D printed on the Objet Connex multi-material system and consists of a rigid cylinder with rubber-like overmoldings that provide the hand-grips, visual design details and importantly - the functional 'push' button that turns the flashlight on and off. The lighting cover is also 3D printed in Objet's VeroClear transparent material and provides excellent light transmission.

New Sustainable Modular Homes by Connect:Homes

New Sustainable Modular Homes by Connect:Homes | Top CAD Experts updates | Scoop.it

Connect:Homes, a Los Angeles-based prefab innovator, has just launched a new line of affordable, exportable, and sustainable modular homes, all of which come from its single California-based factory. The company’s patent-pending modular system ships like shipping containers, but are most definitely not shipping container homes.

Affordable because Connect:Homes has a patent-pending technology that allows them to build modules to 90% complete at the factory, surpassing industry standards that are typically closer to 50%. This reduces finish time and reducing construction costs considerably...
