Comment from the most experienced sales trainer on the planet: Bill McCrary

Bill McCrary • The real travesty is that some salespeople get "used" for free consulting and don't figure out what happened until after they "earn" unlimited access to the prospects voicemail. Seems to result from having "happy ears" and the inability to qualify. In addition, unless sales people have mastered consultative selling and own the ability to create value and articulate a value proposition effectively they will be seen like everyone else and they will be commoditized and used for free consulting.

Tip of the Spear--stop wasting sales budgets dollars:

Tip of the Spear--stop wasting sales budgets dollars: | Tools for Technology Sales Professionals | Scoop.it

The huge investment of passionate employees, executives, and investors is about to fall flat on its face. Not because the rep doesn't know the product or have good messaging or a solid demo...but sales is personal, sales is human interaction, and human interaction is often messy!
Every heard the adage that the fundamental outcome of all communications is MISUNDERSTANDING?
The sales report after the meetings will sound like:
+"good meeting, they loved our demo".
-"a couple of the key players didn't seem to connect"
+ "they asked some great questions and gave lots of buying signals"
AND the reality is that you just spent thousands of dollars and your chance of closing it is less than 20%.
There is a solution...
