My understanding of a bicycle bell means "get the hell outta my way, now!" I was frustrated and not self-assured in taking my hands off the handle bar, cycling at high speeds.

To find my old traditional bell was out of date for the current, cyclist.

The old bell made me insecure as I was not able to multi-task between looking at where I was going and having to ring yesterday’s bell, using my old arthritic thumb. After having realized this after so many years, there must be a better option to what we have always accepted.

This is where it came to my attention that there must be a modern version to the old traditional bike bell. Having been born a naturally creative person, my instincts told me that we need something that was modern and could easily adapt to today’s cycling community.

I invented the ‘RBbell’ around March 12th 2011 and at this point we now have a product which I call a ‘tomorrow’s bell’. It suits the modern day cyclist and gives a piece of mind to all pedestrians/walkers. And no need to multi-task.
