What is possibly most disturbing about this is that the article says that this fraudulent activity with Apple pay was done with the data stolen from the Target breach. If true, this is a solid tangible ripple effect of a secondary issue stemming from one of the recent breaches.

Google has released a new app to the Play Store called Interactive Events. As the name implies, this new app is developed for events and hosted sessions. Unfortunately, we're unable to test out the features as you're required to sign-in to an event using text or QR code. Clearly Google is still working on things. Humorously, it appears as though Google left some code inside the app...

Is Google getting into the conference app industry or an early release for Google I/O?  The screen shots would indicate a definite maybe.  Still to early to tell what this actually is as it is still in the development stages but the possibility of a conference app service that Google stands behind that has all the baked in Google services is enough to raise my eyebrow.  Many many questions still remain not the least of which being would something like this be available to iOS or Microsoft users, is it free, will it have ads, etc.  But something to definitely keep your eye on.
