Emotion in Thought Leadership: Misadventures of an Irresponsible Investor | Cogitation Supremacy | Scoop.it

What is the role of emotion in thought leadership?

I was keeping my eyes out for funny & entertaining TL content when this popped up--a rant from Jack Gray outlining numerous irritations with a vague yet ubiquitous concept in the investment industry: ESG.

Funny, angry and thoughtful at the same time, the piece hits emotional notes within an academic framework (sorry, but no one's reading the Rotman International Journal of Pension Management for its entertainment value). While the article stands by itself, the publishers took another, very interesting step by inviting responses to the piece (3 reactions and differing views)--turning a point of view into the cornerstone of an outright debate.
