The new viewability measurement definition is causing publishers to put ad views before user experience, at the risk of of making websites ugly.

The amount of visual noise is increasing day by day on the online platforms. Publishers are succumbing to the pressure of needing more views, thus are willing to compromise the view-ability of their initially designed web page. Today, majority of the webpages found on the digital platform are mostly covered with adverts instead of their intended content.

Agreed the upsides of this project for the company, more so for the aging citizen of Singapore are great, but will it really be possible to make the smart phone user-friendly for the more aged growing population of Singapore?
