Milk Row: Dairy Farmers Strike A Deal

Milk Row: Dairy Farmers Strike A Deal | They did what? | Scoop.it

Dairy farmers and processing firms strike a deal "in principle" to end the bitter stalemate over milk prices. @Carbonised I am glad to hear this, but customers should keep pressure up on Supermarkets and McDonalds.  Twitter, email and write to all the big supermarkets that you want them to continue to Pay a Fair amount for Milk.  I shall be saying that as a customer I pay for dairy produce in good faith that a fair share will go to the farmers who work so hard to produce it.  Farmers should receive a Fair Share of the Supermarket Profit.  Customers appreciate how hard farmers work and do not want them to suffer bankruptcy or for the farms and fields to become empty and derelict.  We want supermarkets to treat farmers fairly and protect the countryside.  This our country and we are sick of it being damaged by profiteering and greed.  We will not tolerate it any more.
