Dnews is a discovery channel. Discovery channel was created in 1985 and is distributed all over the world in 35 different language.
This video deals with the difference between fusion and fission. Trace Dominguez, who is the reporter, describe with a bit of humour this differences.
The fission is when a neutron comes in a Uranium nucleus and that's will produce an explosion which provoke a reaction and some energy.

The fusion is when two atoms will join in the same nucleus and that's will produce energy.
Fusion pollutes less than fission that's why the fusion  is an energy that the researcher want to devellop in the future.

This article deals with Nucleosynthesis, which is the synthesis of thermonuclear fusion. This article has been written by scientists from NASA on the 8th of May 2012 . Nucleosynthesis needs a high speed collision between the 2 light nuclei. For hydrogen, for example like in the sun, the temperature required is 5 millions degrees and the nuclei which is created is helium. The reason why we can't synthetize this physical reaction is that for nuclei with many protons, the fusion must have a temperature that we can't supply to the nuclei. The temperature to merge carbon required is about 1 billion degrees! That's why the nuclear fusion is actually useless.

This article is written by Maria Goretti Sevillano-Berasategui, a spanish electronics engineer. Nuclear fusion is the energy of future because it could generate more energy than fission without all the threats of fission. So disasters like Chernobyl or Fukushima won't will happen if fusion is used in the future. Moreover, the fuels are more reachablein in fusion than in fission. Indeed, uranium or plutonium are used while in fusion, it's helium or tritium wich can be easily extracted from water or earth. The thesis written by this engineer gives a solution to control the plasma in Tokamak nuclear fusion reactor. It's a giant stride forward for the nuclear fusion and the ITER project. The ITER project in an international nuclear fusion research and engineering project. The world's largest experimental Tokamak nuclear fusion is currently being build in the south of France by the ITER.
