The caste system in India consists of 5 different groups. The top group are like the rulers. They are the Brahmins, or priests. The next level down are the kyshatriyas, they are the warriors and rulers, they made important government decisions that could be overruled by the Brahmins. After that there are the vaisyas they are the skilled workers and then finally the shudras. They were the unskilled workers, slaves but were paid for what they did.

Reading this really surprises me and I'm sure it will surprise most of the viewers. This source indicates how Canada would be like if Canada was India. There were 3 main points which really surprised and jumped out at me. Firstly there is a 25% less likely chance of having HIV/AIDS, secondly we would use 96.95% less electricity, and lastly we would spend 97.66% less money on health care.

There are 3 main parts to the Indian culture. Firstly marriages, marriage in India is very important to all people as well as the family members. Marrying is a family tradition and for centuries arranged marriages have been the tradition. The bride and groom are both matched up based on their values, tastes and their family backgrounds (wealth etc.). There divorce rate is extremely low (1.2%). The second part of the Indian culture which is important is their performing. Drama and theater has a long history in India on top of music and dance. There are many old traditions in the theater that still continue in today's society in India. Music is also a big part of India's culture, hymns and rhythms have been passed down and has still carried on today. The third and final part of Indian culture is the cuisine. India is known for their love for food along with the spices. The food in India is classified into three main categories. Their sophisticated and subtle use of spices are characterized by a wide assortment of dishes and cooking techniques.

The reason that the Indian economy is on such a rapid pace is due to the young intelligent labour force. Although India's economy is on the right track the infrastructure there are risk to this sectorbecause of ecological concerns and opposition to land acquisations.
