Great points on the seven biggest mistakes for marketing on Pinterest:

1. Starting out without a strategy.

2. Using lackluster graphics.

3. Being boring.

4. Leaving boards unchanged for too long.

5. Using representatives who don't understand the brand.

6. Forgetting your audience.

7. Ignoring the competition.

Dotty Scott's curator insight, March 22, 2013 12:10 PM

Having a strategy is very important.  Pinning from your site is important as well.  I do not agree with the idea that pinning from your site is boring.  Unless you site is boring - and that in another whole issue.  If you have a blog you should be using the photos there first then pinning from the post.
