This is a population that is over looked far to often when it comes to learning disabilities. School systems use English as a second language as an excuse not to test many of these students because it is hard to detect or to rule out the fact that a students difficulties are not do to English being their second language. This video gives helpful tips.

Like most of us, I was stunned to hear the news of beloved actor, Robin Williams untimely passing. It was a reminder to me that you never know what someone else is going through. From the outside, all looks well. However, depression is an emotion that starts on the inside and works its way out. No matter who you are, it can happen to you.
