Choices of doctors and hospitals will become much mpore complex now that rankings and costs are becoming more transparent. As well established hospital "brands" are shared via collaborative hospital networks (as in Mayo model) it will be increasingly important for the patient to decide the degre to  which the mother ships of the brand are actualy responsible for quality, integrity, etc in the participating network. As social media become more important in healthcare, it will be interesting to see whether the "yelpification" of hospital and doctor ratings overtakes brand importance in swaying patient choices and trends
