This article by Chuck Klosterman states the decline in sales of music over the past 10 years. A lot of people feel that music should be free, but in order for the music to be given out to the public it needs to be recorded first. Musicians will simply stop producing quality music if they feel they won't make a living off of it. So the decline in actual sales will cause musicians to create less quality music.

I chose to add this video to my scoop.it because it explains how there is no real standard for producing music anymore, as compared to the past. People simply do not want to create lengthy articles criticizing an album because it is costly.
