The loss of muscle mass and fitness in old age may be reversible by providing the body with a key molecule it needs to rebuild blood vessels, scientists have found. The arteries and capillaries which transport oxygen and nutrients around the body are not replaced as quickly when we’re older and this leads muscles to tire more quickly. Eventually they start to atrophy from under use.

Below we have collected the 20 films that most impressed us, from big budget blockbusters to suprising indies. N.B. This list is done by UK release, so films like The Shape of Water, Phantom Thread, Lady Bird, The Post, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri etc fall in 2018.

Britain will not be allowed to host the European Capital of Culture as planned in 2023 after Brexit, despite the scheme being open to countries that aren’t in the EU, Brussels has said. The UK had been scheduled to host the capital in 2023 with candidate cities including Leeds, Dundee, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, and Belfast/Derry having prepared bids at taxpayers’ expense.
