Introduction

I used Amendments one, two, four and five. Amendment one states freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and petition. In the two articles I chose, they were about freedom of assembly and speech. Article two states the right to bear arms. Both of my articles were about that. In amendment four it prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures, both articles were regarding that. In amendment five, a part of it says a person cannot be forced to give testimony against himself, both articles are about that.

Bloomburg is forcing people to pay more than other states for permits to own guns. While in New York they pay $340 plus a $94.25 charge for a finger print check. The fee in other places in the state is just $10. This act is unconstitutional because it makes the right to bear arms a burden and the suit argues that because city residents are forced to pay more than others, the fee also violates the 14th Amendment’s equal-protection clause.

I do not understand anti-bullying. People are cruel, I get that, but we need to be able to cultivate strong willed individuals. We cannot coddle these kids forever. We certainly cannot force people to stop bullying either by government granted free speech. There are no circumstances where the right of free speech should be asked for like a bowl of porridge. "Please sir I want some more?" "What!?" "He asked for more?"  But what about the children? Children are not a special interest group and they do not deserve anything. They must deal with the challenges of life as they come just like everyone else. You learn and you grow that is what having character is all about.
