Police have moved to clear the controversial site earmarked for a McDonald's in the Dandenong Ranges with the removal of a young woman who had been camped atop the roof for more than a week.

Protesters from a groups called No Maccas in the Hills take action against McDonalds said to be constructed in Tecoma. A young woman, 24, is removed from the roof of a building by Police, where she had been holding protest for more than a week.

Tecoma protesters are unhappy about McDonalds' avoidance of direct confrontation regarding the issue of the building's construction
