Technology is a great way to reach kids today. Google classroom is being utilized in the building I teach. Students can have collaborative discussions online, turn in assignments and view immediate feedback. This type of technology should be used in every school.

6 Unexpected Traits Exemplified by Great Leaders

6 Unexpected Traits Exemplified by Great Leaders | Technology | Scoop.it
Many people are tempted to believe that true leaders are born not made, but when it comes to leaders of historical importance, that adage rarely seems true

.

The best leaders are those whose toughest critics still think highly of their person and character. Being a person who is likeable requires that a person practice honesty and justice in all matters, even when those matters are unpleasant or cost him personally.

.

Great leaders are made, not born, and if you hope to be one someday, practice these six traits.

Technology is ever changing and in today's schools technology can be used to enhance the learning of every student. Technology should not, however be used to replace teaching. Too many educators today see technology as a way to keep students busy, This should not be how technology is utilized.

As a future leader, it is imperative that I provide opportunities for teachers to experiment and use technology in a productive way. In my school, teachers use technology for research, math, and google classroom.

As a future leader I want to incorporate technology in my school as much as possible. It is my duty to ensure teachers feel confident using it though. I also want teachers to use the technology to enhance the learning, not replace it.

This particular article moves away from the traditional type of apps and websites that teachers use and look for when first looking for something digital to connect to a lesson. I enjoyed this particular article because it provided links to several different types of geography and economic websites and ideas for teachers to utilize in the classroom. This would be a good site for the teacher that is willing to take a lesson that they love, and move it to the next level with technology.

(From the article): Becoming a mentally strong person requires hard work. It’s not a one hour, day, or week process. It’s a habit you incorporate into your life once you decide to change. That’s why I created the 17 laws for mentally strong people. It’s meant to serve you as a reference guide and keep you on track whenever you question your life purpose. This guide is meant to serve you as a reminder to why you’re different than other people in the world. It brings you back into the mindset that most people don’t have and sets you on a path to success.

POSITIVE ATTITUDES CAN APPEAR TO BE NEGATIVE AT TIMES. WE OFTEN WONDERED HOW WE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WILLINGLY SERVANTS WITH JOYFUL ATTITUDE UNTIL WE REALISED SOME OF THE NEGATIVE HAPPENED INTENTIONALY AND AS SUCH IT REMOVED SOME OF THE NEGATIVE THAT WE WOULD NEVER OWN UP TO BUT IS SOME WHERE WITHIN US AND EITHER WE KNOW IT BUT YET DENY IT OR DENY IT BUT KNOW IT IS THERE. BUT THERE ARE THINGS THAT OCCUR THAT WILL MAKE A NEGATIVE LOOKING SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCE WITH U/WE REVEAL THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE THAT IS IN THE HEART REFLECTED OUT.
