Freeware | MP3 Skype Recorder

Freeware | MP3 Skype Recorder | technologies |
Freeware MP3 Skype recorder is absolutely free automatic Skype call recording tool for windows Skype users.

Some Learning Providers are ditching traditional phones, including mobiles, for the super cheap alternative known as Skype.

Hard working Assessors are wanting to save assessment calls to use as evidence in (e)Portfolios. This free software tool will let them record Skype calls!

I've spent many months trying out such recording software and this I've found to be one the best of free Skype recorders: MP3 Skype Recorder.

VSee: Remote Teamwork

VSee: Remote Teamwork | technologies |
VSee is free for personal use so learners can collaborate without having to buy a subscription. I'm unsure how pricing would work for a learning provider-wide deployment, but VSee does mention options for non-profit use in their FAQ section.

VSee is an alternative to Skype, which many learning providers block, for hosting a video conference and sharing desktops with others. Just as with Skype, users can hold multiple party calls and share their screen with others.

Where VSee tries to differentiate itself is...
* the quality of their calls; and
* connection speeds.

VSee offers...
* HD video for clear call quality; and for mobile users,
* 50% less bandwidth than Skype.

Sharing files through VSee is a simple drag and drop process of just dragging a file onto another person's video window during a call.
