John Dalziel's insight:

Sketching can, for some learners, be one of the best ways to generate ideas and to communicate them.
It’s also good for note taking.
Learners don’t have to be an amazing artist to communicate through sketching.
To help learners learn sketching basics, get them todownload the sketching exercise lessons at Brain Doodles (listed under Educators Resources - Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click resources).
