Technical writing involves the creation of useful documents that can be clearly understood by readers. Good technical writing clarifies jargon, presenting useful information that is clear and easy to understand for the intended audience; poor technical writing may increase confusion by creating unnecessary jargon or failing to explain it. While grammar, spelling and punctuation are of the utmost importance to technical writing, style is not; it can be sacrificed if doing so increases clarity.

Dan Watson and the article / author are right on - teamwork is a critical ingredient to any business' success.  The 6 team mate type discussion is definitely something to consider.

In essence - this also speaks to the power of true Diversity and Inclusion.  D&I is more of a business imperitive than a social cause - as to ignore D & I is to pay lip service to "team work", and "leaves money on the table".  The article through the 6 team mate types speaks to valuing diversity of opinion, style, and background; and inclusion as valuable to a highly performing team.

I do not necessarily agree with this saying, but I feel that teamwork may lead to success faster.

It is true that one person may not be able to complete the jobs that five people could due to lack of skills, but if that person was very skilled they may be able to complete the task, it would just take them longer.

This is how I felt sitting with the client in the waiting room.

Don't try to build a team in your own image. Aim for a diversity of skills and outlooks on life. You'll challenge yourself by surrounding yourself with strong thinkers-

How to be More Productive? Multitasking Paradox and Attention Deficit

How to be More Productive? Multitasking Paradox and Attention Deficit | Technical Writer Blogs | Scoop.it

What is one of the invaluable things today that everyone strives for to get from you? To my mind, it is your Attention..  Commercials aimed to get attention of consumers, governments – for voters, international authorities etc, businesses – for stakeholders etc..

“The more I allow myself to be seduced by distraction, the more distractible I become”.  Tony Schwartz, President and CEO of The Energy Project.

It is getting more and more difficult to grant longer attention to the issues or hobbies you’d prefer to do. Still we need somehow to cope to keep afloat. And moreover, we don’t need only to cope, but to time-manage, prioritise, and be on top of the follow-up.

Thus, we usually decide and/or are forced to multitask as a solution. Multitasking is a very well promoted skill as one that saves time and logically will lead to more productivity. However, the recent study by Harvard Business Review revealed directly the opposite, so-called ‘The Multitasking Paradox’.
