Sticky Teaching - Understanding What The Brain Can't Ignore (Infographic)

Nicola: This great infographic really explains well how the brain works when we're trying to learn. I love it because it matches ideas I developed for myself but it explains it much better than I ever have.

It also shows why infographics are such a great way of explaining concepts.

Great website. Thank you. I have referenced you on my own, synthesizingeducation.net, where I will be posting biweekly exemplars on the Common Core.

I, Pencil | Leonard Reed

I, Pencil | Leonard Reed | Teaching with Infographics | Scoop.it

"I, Pencil, simple though I appear to be, merit your wonder and awe, a claim I shall attempt to prove. In fact, if you can understand me—no, that’s too much to ask of anyone—if you can become aware of the miraculousness which I symbolize, you can help save the freedom mankind is so unhappily losing. I have a profound lesson to teach. And I can teach this lesson better than can an automobile or an airplane or a mechanical dishwasher because—well, because I am seemingly so simple."
