Great Tools --> Create Interactive Video Quizzes
Claude Tran's curator insight, September 13, 2017 12:28 AM
These are tools you can use to design quizzes based on selected video content. They allow you to import video clips, add a variety of interactive features to them (e,g different question types, comments, notes, links etc) and share them with your students. Some of these tools include the option to track student progress and access stats on how students are interacting with your video quizzes. Share with us in our Facebook page if you have other suggestions to add to the list.

Richmond Brewery Taps a 300-Year-Old Beer Recipe | Teaching English as a Second Language | Scoop.it

What do you get when you combine water, American persimmons and hops and ferment it with yeast? A beer based on a 300-year-old recipe scribbled in a cookbook kept by Virginia's prominent Randolph family.

Ardent Craft Ales in Richmond recently brewed "Jane's Percimon Beer" unearthed from the book in the Virginia Historical Society's collections from the 1700s that contains food, medicinal remedies and beer recipes. The formula for the Colonial-era concoction is one of thousands of alcoholic recipes in the society's collection that provide a glimpse into what Virginians and others were drinking in the 18th century and other points in history...
