For men especially, resolving anger issues can be an arduous task. It takes a consistent application of self reflection and emotional integration. You will find that you are not angry for the reason you think. It's always something deeper than your lizard brain is telling you at the moment. Finding those "reasons" and dealing with the origins of the trauma is powerful and effective. An important step on the journey to Wholeness.

I've always been a little obsessed about the relationship among personal, organizational, and social transformation. This diagram outlines some of my thoughts as a holistic emotional model.

Emotional Integration has everything to do with social change toward expanded consciousness and authenticity. In fact it's a prerequisite. Authenticity doesn't happen without it. Social Change can happen through stigma and peer pressure too, but that's not authenticity or expanded consciousness.

Yes, Emotional Intelligence should be taught, but it depends on WHO is teaching it. You can't teach this unless you HAVE this. You will not have this in a deep way unless you go through emotional integration work for a couple years at least. So, the teachers need to learn it first.
