Eligibility: Valid BPL Library Card and a current government issued photo I.D.Loan Periods: 2 WeeksCheck-in: Tablet must be returned to the location from which it was borrowed and returned to a staff member (no book drop returns)Borrowing Limit: 1 Per personRenewals: 3 **(WOW! I love these kinds of advances.  For those of us who know of people who've struggled with language learning challenges this is a great discovery. Language leaning problems create way too many other personal and social problems for children who then grow to be adults with problems unless they are diagnosed and helped.

Way to go Smithsonian researchers!

First public library in area to circulate tablets & e-readers! 10 devices. 3 types to choose from: iPads, Kindle Fires, and Sony e-readers. Check out policy still under consideration. No wi-fi or internet connection - internet disabling software installed. No insurance. Fines/Replacement costs. 100 e-books loaded onto each device (different genre on each).
