Sustainable building is a way forward and will soon be a point of call to any and all developers of large sky-rise buildings or even smaller office spaces or storage houses and the world looks constantly at ways it can reduce its carbon footprint and the business can gain "green credits" and be seen  to have a better social standing. This is often done through simple things such as the research into new ways to insulate and reduce energy costs around the building through natural ways. This is definitely an area for businesses to look into if they want to achieve a better carbon foot print. A good example of a South African company doing this would be Nedbank
