Da'Vaughn A Ray's insight:

This article simply shows the evolution of technology at its finest. Being able to mix and record things off your phone.

Pros: Its gotta be the fastest way to upload right after recording because phones are now like a second form of ID.

Cons: I would think the quality would suffer because phones are made for communication mainly they touch on every other thing but are mainly for talking.

Pros: Is one of the easiest ways to upload and share the works that you record.

Cons: I don't think that the quality will be good, or at least not how you spect. because is not mixed, is just recorded and uploaded.

Return of the 808

Return of the 808 | Audio Mixers | Scoop.it
The most iconic drum machine in history looks good for its age. Japanese electronics company Roland released the TR-808 Rhythm Composer in 1980, and for a long time people thought the only way to...
Da'Vaughn A Ray's insight:

The 808 mixer left a major mark on on the music industry with its perfected synthesized drum sounds. As a mixing machine being dropped in the 80's its still one of the heavy hitters amoungst other mixing machines. The only problem is the machine is so hard to find since they stopped marketing them in the 80's and if you find one on the internet you will most likely have to spend hundreds of dollars to have it refurbished. I fell like this webpage is very credible because it also has videos to go along with the history readings.

In this article it tells you whats the best mixers and interfaces for home recording. It also explains just what the audio interface and the mixers do.The Pros are that if you needed a price for the best equipment or even just wanted to identify the best devices the can probably be found in the article. The con is you have to pay more to play more for example, higher price will have more inputs and and sounds then the cheaper mixer. This site is credible it has people who have retweeted info from it and have like the site on Facebook.
