WE are capable of stressing ourselves out to a breaking point with thoughts alone.

Burnout has many origins in the workplace. I believe this author hits on a couple of outstanding points in this regars I often remark upon. First, know the diffeeence between being busy and productive—combat it by making lists and accomplishing these items, or, if it is a complex task, make lists against milestones and complete those.  Lastly, compare yourself only against yourself. We often measure ourselves against the output of others but the truth is our capacity has a limit. We should recognize that fact and use it as our performance yardstick.
