Recent research may tout the benefits of mindfulness programs in schools -- including improved test scores and decreased stress -- but some parents aren't convinced.

Meditation in classrooms?  To me, it's a great idea - since most schools have taken required Phsical Education and Recess out of the school day.  Kids need an outlet to let go of the pent up energy and stress of the day.

A paradoxical phenomenon involving more melt water may explain the recent expansion of Antarctic sea ice, scientists tell Nature Geoscience journal.

National Geographic featured the time lapse of ice glaciers on "Chasing Ice".  The time lapse of the ice melting showed that it  melted more in ten years than in the previous 100 years.
