Two years ago, I escaped from the corporate World.

I was working at a boutique investment firm in London, advising super wealthy clients on investments, taxes and similar.  The days weren’t too long, the people were nice, for the most part, and I made good money. But I still hated it.

I was stuck in an office every day doing something I didn't enjoy, I knew exactly where I'd be in 5 or 10 years, I could look back at my time sheet and say what I'd been doing on any given day, at any minute during the previous x years, I only had two weeks off a year to do something I actually enjoyed, I spent my Sunday's wondering where the weekend had gone and already stressed about the prospects of Monday morning; and so many other reasons. I was convinced that life could, and should, offer more.
