Susan M. Baxter's curator insight, October 17, 2013 3:33 PM

This is a nifty survey sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation showing the "viral transmission" of entrepreneurship through - yet again - networks.  The survey data shows especially the need for exposure to "growth" entrepreneurship (think biotech); currently those networks skew toward male & upper income practitioners. A nice justification for programs like the CSUPERB Early-stage Biotechnology Commercialization Challenge, the CSU I-Corps and other programs that bring together biotech practitioners with "nascent academic entrepreneurs."
