Kobe Bryant passed Wilt Chamberlain for No. 4 on the all-time scoring list on Saturday. Michael Jordan is next. But is there a chance Kobe can catch Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?

13 Times LeBron Was Super Likable In His New Nike Commercial

13 Times LeBron Was Super Likable In His New Nike Commercial | SportsEthics: Melvin, Miles | Scoop.it

1. When he greeted his young bicycle crew.
2. When he said “what up” to some old guy playing dominos.
4. Then gave him some daps for practicing good bicycle safety.
5. During his intense workout montage.
6. When he disrobed and started a riot on the beach…
7. And ruined this guy’s day.
8. When he did his Rocky II impression.
9. When he surprised these kids at the park.
10. And proceeded to dunk on them.
11. When he gave the kid with a young Kobe ‘fro his stinky kicks.
12. When he did his Forrest Gump impression.
13. When he didn’t invite anyone into his mansion for water and orange slices.

Okay, maybe that’s the same ol’ LeBron, but in his defense there were a lot of people and he probably didn’t have enough oranges.

Jason Kidd's Competence Quickly Becoming Brooklyn Nets' Biggest Question Mark

Jason Kidd's Competence Quickly Becoming Brooklyn Nets' Biggest Question Mark | SportsEthics: Melvin, Miles | Scoop.it
BROOKLYN — In an audacious offseason of binge spending and headline grabbing, the boldest, riskiest move the Brooklyn Nets made was the one that started it all.

Things are not going as planned, but I think it's too early to start throwing Jason Kidd under the bus as being the reason this team has stumbled to a 3-7 start! I thought his hiring was a little flaky at the time, but come on we're only 10 games into an 82 game schedule. Give him some more time to see if all these new players they slapped together can gel.

Bringing in three old guys from Boston wasn't very bright by the front office in my opinion.

When you think of the league’s most physical players, Mario Chalmers isn’t a name that immediately jumps to the top of the list.

He should have been suspended for more than one game in my opinion! That was a dirty cheap shot and you will see what I mean if you watch the whole video replay because it shows it from different angles. At first glance it didn't look so bad, but the behind the basket replay about a minute into the video gives you a great view of what Chalmers did. It was nothing more than a dirty cheap shot and I wish Dirk would have blasted him in the mouth for it.

I give Dirk props for keeping his head and not doing anything to retaliate. I'm not sure how he was able to just brush it off, either fear or incredible self control?
