University of Minnesota leading by example in 2008 with going green for their football stadium.  The stadium uses 10% less energy than comparable stadiums with the use of energy efficient lighting and low flush toilets.

This sounds like a good concept, but I think this is taking out all of the fun to the game.  This would require  opening gates earlier. longer wait times and more staff to hire and train.
