This has some good insights about renovating a golf course, or any other facility.  I particularly like the idea of making some of the fairways narrower.  This is a great way to increase sustainability, enhance natural beauty, and make the course more challenging (which might make it more popular).

Though this article may be slightly more applicable to the Sports Law class I took last semester, I believe it is another good reminder to management that the ADA is applicable to athletes as well as fans.  This will present new challenges and opportunities for sports managers, school athletic directors in particular.  It will be exciting to see how this effects the landscape of sports!

A good example of how an event can impact the community, as well as how that event can decide to leave the community if it is not being accomodated properly.  If Salt Lake does not figure out a way to improve facility space and size, the OR shows could move to a different city... and take millions of dollars with them.  This is part of the dilemma for sports management companies and municipality governments in deciding whether a sports arena should or shouldn't be publicly subsidized.
